Below is a list of frequently asked questions about Waldorf Astoria Orlando.  Here you will find answers from airport transportation to our pet policy to purchasing tickets for local parks and attractions. If your question is still unanswered after reading through the FAQs, please feel free to contact us.

 

How much is the daily resort charge and what does it include?
The daily resort charge is $35 (plus tax) which will be charged to your room rate per room, per night and includes:

  • Premium WiFi access throughout the resort and public areas (excluding meeting space).
  • Two (2) welcome drinks in Peacock Alley or Aquamarine
  • Access to Spa and Fitness Center
  • Bike rentals (based on availability)
  • Access to the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club practice facilities
  • Complimentary golf club rental after 2pm
  • 10% off Spa Treatments at the Waldorf Astoria Spa
  • 10% off pool cabana rentals (reservations recommended)
  • Unlimited access to in-room local and toll free calls

 

Is there transportation to/from the airport?

Mears Transportation provides Charter Rates including Motor Coach, Limousines, 11-Passenger Vans and 25-Person Mini Bus. Mears also offers shuttle transportation from Orlando International Airport.  Mears shuttle transportation is a shared riding service and the pricing is based on per person. Taxi services are available, as well.

MEARS Town Car – $85/One Way or $155/Round Trip
MEARS SUVs and Vans – $103/One Way or $173/Round Trip
MEARS Limousine Transportation – Minimum $170/One Way
MEARS Shuttle – Per Adult, $22/One Way or $36/Round Trip; Per Child, $18/One Way or $36/Round Trip
TAXI – Minimum $70/One Way

 

*Prices do not include driver gratuity, however, customary gratuities can be added. Pricing does not include Meet-and-Greet fees

 

Is complimentary shuttle service provided to the outlet malls?

We currently do not provide complimentary shuttle service to the outlet malls.  However, if you require transportation, our concierge will be pleased to assist you with scheduling private transportation to the outlet malls.

 

Are pets allowed?

Pets are prohibited. We are happy to recommend kennel services located near the hotel should you require assistance.  Our hotel is ADA compliant and service animals are welcome.

 

Is smoking allowed in the rooms? On the property?

Waldorf Astoria Orlando is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in guest rooms or inside the hotel. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

 

What are your parking fees?

We offer 24-hour valet parking. The valet parking fee is $35 per day plus applicable taxes. Overnight guests have in/out privileges.

 

Can I ship a package to/from the hotel?  Is there a fee?

With FedEx Office® parcel management service located right on site, you can count on reliable receiving, handling and tracking of your packages.  It is important to note that FedEx Office charges separate handling fees to receive packages/parcels; to ship packages/parcels; and to deliver packages/parcels to your guest room.  There are also separate fees for daily package storage, should your packages/parcels arrive before you do.  Please call our FedEx Office at 407-787-0276 or email usa5585@fedex.com for information on package handling and associated fees.

 

Do you provide transportation to the theme parks?

Yes, we do.  Enjoy our complimentary private luxury motor coach transportation directly from Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando to the neighboring Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and the Disney Springs™ Area.

How can I purchase Disney Tickets?

For your convenience, tickets for Walt Disney World® Theme Parks may be purchased online by clicking here.  Tickets for Disney Theme Parks and attractions may also be purchased on-site through our Tickets Service Desk.

 

How can I purchase other Orlando-area theme park tickets?

Tickets for other Orlando-area theme parks and attractions may also be purchased on-site through our Tickets Service Desk.

 

Do you provide pool towels?

Yes, all guests are provided fluffy towels by visiting the Splash Hut. Pool towels are for use on the pool deck only. Guests will be required to show their room key card to receive pool towels.

 

Are there any pool restrictions I should be made aware of?

Sorry, but no outside inflatable tubes, floating devices, food or beverages are allowed at the pool.  However, Inflatable tubes and floats may be purchased from the Splash Hut; and food and beverage service is provided poolside by Aquamarine.

 

As a guest of Waldorf Astoria Orlando, may I use the pool at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek?

Yes, as a guest of Waldorf Astoria Orlando you have the added benefit of access to the many amenities at both properties, including the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek’s pool, lazy river and their restaurants.

 

What are your pool hours of operation?

Daily, 7am – 10pm, weather permitting.

 

Do you have a fitness center? What are the hours? Applicable fees associated?

Our 24-hour fitness center, located within the Waldorf Astoria Spa, features a variety of cardiovascular and weight training machines. Access to the fitness center is included in the daily resort charge for guests of Waldorf Astoria Orlando.  For all other hotel guests there is a daily charge of $20 per day plus applicable tax to access the fitness center including spa facilities.

 

What are your check in/check out times?

Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am.

 

Do you have a lost and found? How can I report a missing item?

Yes, we do.  All abandoned personal property is reported to our Loss Prevention Department. To report a loss, please call Lost and Found at 407-597-3885 or visit our Lost & Found Reporting Site.

 

What is your credit card deposit policy?

A credit card is required for all reservations.  A one night deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made.

 

How long does it take for a hold authorization on my debit or credit card to be released?

Holds on a debit or credit card are typically released anywhere from one to fourteen days after the transaction date, depending on your bank’s policy. Holds on credit card and debit cards issued by a foreign bank may last as long as 30 days. Please contact your financial institution on their policy.
