ORLANDO, Fla., September 16, 2008 – Two iconic brands synonymous with providing the highest level of service to discerning guests will join forces when The Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain® opens October 1, 2009 at the new Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Guerlain currently operates spas in only eight locations worldwide.

The 24,000-square-foot Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain will be situated on two levels, overlooking the resort’s signature pool and championship golf course. Facilities include 23 indoor treatment rooms for individuals and couples, six private outdoor treatment areas, a relaxation lounge, and a full-service beauty salon. Fitness services, personal trainers, and a spa boutique with fragrance and makeup collections, will also be available. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for spa guests from other hotels and the surrounding community.
Signature treatments will include such Guerlain Mèthode experiences as the 120-minute Intensive Facial, All-Over Contour Design Re-Defining Body Treatment, and Body Polish, featuring the state-of-the-art Vichy rain-shower room.
The Waldorf Astoria Orlando, offering the highest level of amenities and services expected at the most extraordinary properties across the globe, is the first outside of New York. Built from the ground up, the 482-acre resort will feature 497 deluxe rooms and suites and 28,000 square feet of exclusive flexible meeting and pre-function space.
