Waldorf Astoria® Orlando Celebrates The Holiday Season With Gourmet Feast

ORLANDO, FL -The Waldorf Astoria® Orlando is celebrating their first holiday season with an elaborate Christmas Buffet on December 25 in the hotel's Waldorf Astoria ballroom. Overflowing with traditional holiday dishes, the buffet will also feature a variety of international cuisine from around the world.
The Christmas Buffet is a long-standing tradition at the original Waldorf=Astoria, and the hotel's first locale outside New York will pay tribute to the iconic landmark with such signature dishes as Eggs Benedict, Waldorf Apple Salad and Red Velvet Cake.
Salads served will include Spice Poached Pears, Candied Walnuts, Baby Frisse and Brioche Crouton and Sea Salt Roasted Asparagus with Shaved Manchego and Balsamic Glaze, among others. An array of fresh seafood will be available including oysters, shrimp, salmon and crab claws. Other offerings such as Pork Dumplings, Shu Mai with Hoisin and sushi rolls provide an Asian flare to the menu.
Roasted Tom Turkey and Stuffing Served with Gravy and Cranberry Sauce; Beef Tenderloin Wellington with Black Truffle Port Wine Sauce; Roasted Leg of Lamb, Hay Crust with Rosemary Au Jus; and Pork Tenderloin "En Croute" Wasabi and Herbs with Vegetable Tajine will take center stage at the carving stations.
The Executive Chef's selection of holiday desserts include Red Velvet Cake, Orange Pannettone Bread Pudding, warm crepes cooked to order, Pear and Nutmeg Crumble, Chocolate Dipped Florida Strawberries and assorted miniature pastries, cakes and torts.
The buffet will be offered from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Ballroom. Per person prices plus taxes and gratuities are $85.00 for adults; $35.00 for children age 12 and under.
Following the Christmas feast, guests can stay overnight at Waldorf Astoria Orlando with accommodations in a deluxe guestroom starting at $299.00 per night, based on double occupancy.
