What to Wear: Resort Pool

Disney World is a once in a lifetime trip, but the magic doesn’t just stop at the parks, it goes beyond. Resorts such as Waldorf Astoria Orlando offer a myriad of activities to participate in and soak up some of that summer Florida sun and make memories you’ll look back on your entire life. From the lazy river at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek pool to the giant waterslide to relaxing poolside, to our “Enchanted Evenings” filled with activity.

But what do you wear to the pool? As a parent, you want to dress appropriately, be comfortable, and look chic. As a child, your sole focus is fun. For both mindsets, both objectives can be achieved in style! It should not be overlooked that there are those staple items that everyone should always have when hanging out poolside – sunscreen to protect from the sun, a hat for added protection, sunglasses, sandals, a beach bag to hold all of your belongings, and of course towels!

Once you’ve packed your poolside staples into your beach bag, your attention shifts to what you will wear – something practical, something stylish, and something that fits your personal style.

Opt for a bathing suit that is stylish, yet practical. You want to look on trend, but still be able to play in the water with your kids! Look for a cover-up that can double as a dress so that you feel comfortable grabbing dinner poolside. Let your accessories do the talking and look for hats, sandals, and sunglasses that will make a statement!

You can easily elevate your standard swimwear by adding a polo shirt and stylish accessories!

When shopping for your little girl, pick her favorite swim suit and then choose accessories accordingly. Having a hooded towel coverup dries your little one off and keeps her hands free. A romper or sundress is a great option to layer over a bathing suit and easily head to dinner poolside.
